KZN Spring Picnic

We had such a great attendance at this year’s spring picnic as 22 families joined us at the Kloof SPCA for a nice get-together (there were mostly twins, three sets of triplets and our famous quintuplets).  It was also great to have 4 new families attend the function – welcome to new members: Elsie Sonnikus, Princess Marais and Samantha Harris and their families.  We also hope to see Albert and Alexa Smit who attended joining soon.  Thank you so much to everyone who has attended (especially to those of you who travelled from as far as Pietermaritzburg), we really hope that you have enjoyed the day with us!

We were not aware that the SPCA was having their Spring Fair on the same day, but it was great as there was lots of entertainment for the adults and children.  Unfortunately the weather was not so great – although it was a warm day, the wind was a bit unpleasant.  We would like to thank the Kloof SPCA for their generosity in allowing us to make use of their venue.

The children had a blast icing their own cupcakes and I must apologize to the families who might have suffered following the uncontrolled sugar intake!    The pictures say it all…

Kerryn Els was very kind in donating two brownie hampers (including the secret recipe).  Congratulations to the Browne and Kruger families who each walked away with a lovely hamper!
