Pretoria Spring picnic – 03 September 2011
We had a lovely Spring picnic on the 3rd of September which was held at Magnolia Dell in Brooklyn. The weather was really nice and warm and everybody enjoyed a picnic basket and had a nice relaxing time.
We were more or less 30 adults with 37 kids who ran around, playing for almost 4 hours! Well, almost everybody had a relaxing time... I and some other parents had to do a little bit of running around! My boy (Ruben) decided he wants to play with everybody else’s toys and then ran away to go and play with other kids’ soccer balls. My girl (Mia) ran to the 4.5m high slide the whole time!! She is so tiny that I had to stand at the bottom to catch her, otherwise she would just go flying through the air.
Nevertheless, we all had a fabulous time and I really enjoyed meeting some new faces!
Thank you to all of you who took the time to come to the picnic. It was wonderful to see all of you again, especially with all the little ones who are growing so quickly.

Mom's night off - 20 September 2011

We had such a lovely night! Just us moms, having a brilliant time! We started the night off with tenpin bowling. As you can see from the photos, we are very close to being brilliant!
After a fun time at the tenpin bowling court we had supper at Cappuchinnos Restaurant with a big glass of wine.
It was so nice to have a relaxing evening with other moms! Thank you to Annette Jordaan who arranged everything!
